Jaz Gill

Jaz Gill leads Northwood’s Client Operations and Technology group and is a member of the firm’s Senior Leadership Team. With nearly two decades of experience in wealth management, Jaz brings a results-driven approach to building operational infrastructure and delivering technology solutions that support Northwood’s integrated service model for families of wealth.

Early in his career, Jaz worked at an open-architecture wealth management firm. There, he helped develop and implement strategic plans for ultra-high-net-worth families and institutions.  As the firm grew, Jaz was asked to lead the operations department, marking the beginning of a career focused on building scalable systems and leading high-impact projects.

Before joining Northwood, Jaz served as Chief Operating Officer at Guardian Partners Inc. and BNY Mellon Wealth Management, Advisory Services, where he spent over ten years overseeing business operations, risk management, and major technology initiatives across Canada and the U.S. He was drawn to Northwood by the depth of client engagement, the comprehensive nature of the family office model, and the opportunity to be part of a growing and collaborative team.

Professionally, Jaz is motivated by seeing the tangible results of his work and is deeply invested in the success of the people and projects he leads. He takes pride in doing whatever it takes to ensure a project’s success and is energized by the challenge of building systems that make a lasting impact.

Outside of work, Jaz enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, exploring new restaurants and craft breweries. Raised in the GTA, he remains closely tied to the community that shaped his journey.
