What do you do at Northwood Family Office?

I am a Senior Operations Analyst at Northwood, where I am responsible for producing quarterly review reports for our clients. I ensure the highest level of accuracy so that these reports can be presented in a well-detailed and professional manner by our client team. Beyond this, I assist in our regulatory compliance reporting for Northwood along with other ad-hoc tasks providing the highest standard of service to our clients and affiliates.

What did you do before joining Northwood?

I have worked in the investment industry for more than 15 years, primarily in Hedge Fund Accounting. Prior to joining Northwood, I was at BMO Global Asset Management, within one of Canada’s major banks, for six years where I held the role of Manager of Operations and Trade Support.  

What do you enjoy most about Northwood?

We have a talented group of individuals who have a wide range of knowledge and experiences in various industries which helps Northwood by thinking outside of the box. There is never a dull moment at Northwood. I get the opportunity to  learn something new about the Multi Family Office industry every day. But what stands out most is our work culture. Sometimes it’s just about having a laugh and having fun!

What are your favorite things to do outside of work?

I love playing sports like basketball, soccer, baseball (anything competitive). I also enjoy being involved in both my kids’ soccer and baseball teams as a coach. I love listening to and making music at home or at a friend’s studio. I enjoy doing renovations in the house; the last reno I did was putting up an accent wall in my office. The main thing is just enjoying the company of your family and making a lot of memories.

What are you most looking forward to when the world returns to normal?

I’m looking forward to traveling freely without a mask, and being able to spend time with friends and family without the worries of catching or spreading anything.
